Yaroslavl, Yaroslavl, Russian Federation
The editorial board, our authors, and readers were pleased to hear the news of our publication’s inclusion in the White List of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, at the second-highest level of four. This is especially true given that many journals on the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) List failed to make it onto the White List at any level. We are grateful to the economic institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences for their recommendation to include us on this list. We believe this recommendation recognizes our consistent and systematic work over the past decade and a half to advance, substantiate, develop, and advance our concept of theoretical economics in the journal «Theoretical Economics.» Therefore, in response to this public recognition, we must further strengthen our efforts to further develop theoretical economics as a new paradigmatic mainstream in socioeconomic research. This section provides an overview of the materials presented in Issue 9 (129) of our journal. The editor believes that the publications in this issue truly offer ideas for the further development of our concept. In other words, we are continuing the work we have been carrying out on the pages of our online publication for the past decade and a half. This section demonstrates this development using each work presented in this issue as an example. The editor notes that this development is evident, albeit to varying degrees, in both the contributions of well-known authors and new ones. The content of this issue traditionally focuses on, first, current issues in theoretical economics, explored by authors from Voronezh and St. Petersburg. Second, attention is paid to the theoretical and economic aspects of the study of the new industrialization in four articles in the corresponding section. Third, attention is paid to contemporary issues of the global economy, explored in the work of I.A. Karachev. And, of course, fourth, special attention is given to the work of young scholars, with three of their works characterized. The methodology of this editorial study is naturally based on our proposed concept of theoretical economics. The scientific novelty of the work lies in identifying the contribution of the articles published in this issue to the development of this concept.
White List, theoretical economics, new industrialization, contemporary problems of the global economy, creativity of young scientists, new paradigmatic mainstream in socio‑economic research, further development of our concept as a new mainstream
