Abstract (English):
Enhancing the quality and service life of asphalt concrete in the design and construction of road pavements requires the adoption of new mix production methods and technologies, as well as the use of modifying additives to create a construction material with a comprehensive set of required properties. Introducing modifier additives into bitumen can qualitatively improve its characteristics; however, this often leads to a more complex process and increased cost of the final product. This paper proposes a new method for modifying the composition, which involves introducing the additive directly into the asphalt concrete mix rather than into the bitumen.
