The planning and organization of highway construction currently continues to experience limitations due to the low level of interoperability of information models, as well as difficulties in integrating time and cost parameters into the structure of design elements at the implementing linear facilities. The tasks of optimizing design solutions in the field of routing are becoming of key importance in the context of forming a sustainable and reliable transport system. Existing approaches to route selection are typically characterized by a fragmented consideration of initial factors, which reduces the validity of decisions made and may lead to an increase in total costs and a decrease in the effective implementation of projects. In this regard, a tracing optimization scheme has been developed based on the use of information modeling technologies and the integration of heterogeneous data with analytical tools. The proposed approach ensures the sequential execution of key stages of highway design, including digital terrain representation, generation of route geometric parameters, traffic flow modeling, economic evaluation of design solutions, as well as analysis of environmental consequences. The model under consideration is adaptive and scalable, which allows it to be used as a universal tool for the implementation of infrastructure projects.
