The relevance of the topic is related to the fact that the purpose of incentives is not to encourage a person to work at all, but to encourage him to do better what is conditioned by the employment relationship. A rationally constructed system of motivation and stimulation of work should take into account the motives of each employee and the team as a whole, which will undoubtedly lead to many improvements in the work of the enterprise. Only an effective motivation and incentive system makes it possible to create an effective management system, since it is through motivation that a particular individual and the team as a whole ensure the achievement of personal and collective goals in the relationship. Therefore, it is no coincidence that motivation occupies a key place in the structure of an employee’s personality, being one of the main concepts used to explain the driving forces of his behavior. The study of human behavior in a team is possible using the methods of sociological research. Based on the results of an empirical study, the article shows that the solution to the problem of forming a labor incentive system in an enterprise is directly related to the study of the attitude of employees to the existing one in the organization. The results are considered, on the basis of which solutions are proposed to adjust the incentive factors affecting labor productivity. The method of sociological survey was used, the advantage of which is the opportunity to study the deep processes taking place in people’s minds, the motives of their behavior, social attitudes and values. The purpose of the article is to show the importance of sociological research methods for the formation of an adequate labor incentive system in a particular enterprise. Scientific novelty is provided by the results of empirical research using the author’s tools.
